Role Seniority Mid-level About the Role As a key contributor to Virgin Australia''s Airports Commercial team, this role involves shaping airport commercial partnerships, infrastructure planning, and negotiations. You will utilize your financial modelling expertise to evaluate proposals, analyze pricing, and support data-driven decisions to ensure access to airport infrastructure on viable terms. Key Accountabilities Safety, Security & Business Resilience Complete mandatory training and participate in safety and resilience initiatives. Identify hazards, adhere to procedures, and participate in safety programs. Commercial Proposal Evaluation Analyze proposals using building block models and data, assess financial and strategic implications, benchmark against industry best practices, and update scenarios during negotiations. Analytical Modelling Build and maintain financial models, perform scenario analyses, and support budgeting and forecasting for airport contracts. Commercial Recommendations Prepare negotiation strategies, executive presentations, and data visualizations to support decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement & Contract Management Build relationships with stakeholders, support contract negotiations, and maintain documentation. Team Support Contribute to process improvements, support invoicing, and foster a positive team culture. Experience & Skills 2-3+ years in a similar financial analyst role, preferably in aviation or infrastructure. Experience with complex data, contracts, and strategic presentations. Stakeholder management skills and negotiating experience. Proficiency in financial modelling, data analytics, and visualization tools.
