This role is instrumental in cultivating a workplace culture that aligns with Councils SPARC values and delivers a positive employee experience.The People & Culture Manager will provide high-level support and guidance to senior leaders while managing a team responsible for key HR functions including employee relations, workforce planning, remuneration, WHS, and change management.Responsibilities:Lead People & Culture operations with clear strategy, guidance, and authentic leadership;Build strong partnerships with executives to inform people-related decision making;Develop and deliver strategies aligned to corporate plans and evolving needs;Guide employee relations and investigations to achieve fair, timely outcomes;Lead enterprise bargaining, union engagement and industrial relations reform;Provide expert advice on industrial instruments, legislation, and workforce strategy;Drive initiatives that embed a values-led, inclusive and engaged workplace culture;Oversee implementation of robust workplace health and safety systems;Ensure compliance with legislation through policies, procedures, and governance; andManage resources and drive business improvement for sustainable service delivery.Ideal Candidate:We are seeking an inspiring leader with deep HR expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for building positive workplace culture.
