This opportunity, working for a leading food manufacturing business with full supply chain control, seeks a Health & Safety Officer to oversee compliance, safety, and training across the site.Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 plus BenefitsWhat You Will DoDevelop and maintain risk assessments and procedures to ensure safety standards.Lead site inspections and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to regulations.Support incident investigations and audits, driving continuous improvement.Manage site hygiene and training standards, ensuring staff are well-equipped.Deliver engaging training sessions, toolbox talks, and reviews to foster a safety-first culture.Collaborate with other safety officers to share best practices and improve processes.What You Will BringIOSH qualification is essential; NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable.Experience in delivering training and engaging staff.Strong auditing skills and understanding of safety regulations.Experience in agriculture or similar environments is advantageous.Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.This company plays a vital role in the agriculture sector, supplying high-quality products to major supermarkets and restaurants.
