About The Role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Community Support Coordinator at our Bunbury location. Reporting to the Corps Officers, this is a max-term, part-time position offering 15 hours per week until June 2026. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 3. You will successfully Oversee all aspects of the Drop-in Centre in Bunbury, ensuring a supportive environment for all participants. Coordinate material/financial assistance to community members in collaboration with the Salvos Doorways Phone Assistance Line and Corps Based Social funding. Assist community members to access emergency relief services and other relevant referrals or resources internally and externally. Ensure best practice in service delivery, information recording, food storage, and health/safety. Manage group dynamics and respond to individual needs as necessary. Connect community members into faith-based activities through referral pathways. You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications) Qualification in Community Services/Social Work or related discipline, or willingness to obtain, or equivalent experience. Experience managing volunteers and/or employees. Experience in community-based activities and working with vulnerable and culturally diverse individuals (desirable). Experience in community engagement for a religious or not-for-profit organization (desirable). A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required. Drivers License (preferred).
