You can see some of our current projects here.Your roleAs the Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will administer ILM Sydneys immigration and global mobility programs, services, and process delivery. Your role is critical in ensuring the company''s compliance with international rules and regulations regarding immigration, tax, and relocation. You will coordinate all aspects of expatriate assignments, including immigration, tax compliance, relocation logistics, and staying updated with international laws and regulations. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to support the companys global talent strategy and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies.What will you be doing?Execute end-to-end processes for ILM Sydneys international assignments, including relocation and expatriate packages, visas, and tax services.Partner with Disney Legal, Disney Tax, and external vendors to ensure compliance.Maintain detailed case files for each foreign worker/traveler and communicate with stakeholders such as TWDC HR, Global Mobility, and local HR.Analyze candidate eligibility and work authorization documents, providing pre-assessment reports outlining immigration and tax pathways, timelines, and risks.Develop strategies for high-volume foreign worker intake, assessing the best pathways based on candidate profiles, roles, wages, and timelines.Mitigate risks related to immigration and global mobility by navigating inbound US restrictions, border closures, and country-specific requirements, creating individualized Global Mobility Plans.Manage timelines and processes for intra-company transfers, temporary assignments, contractors, and business travelers.Maintain global mobility policies and procedures for the Sydney studio.Advise productions on international rules and regulations to ensure compliance.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Global Mobility Managers, HR Business Partners, production leaders, finance, and external vendors like Fragomen and KPMG.Skills and qualificationsAdvanced knowledge of employment-based immigration programs, processes, and policies, including Disney Legal policies.Ability to navigate complex changes in the global immigration landscape.Client-centered approach with proactive, professional communication skills.Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and similar programs.Excellent attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Innovative troubleshooting skills.Discretion in handling sensitive information.Ideally 5+ years of experience.Bachelor''s Degree.Registered Migration Agent.Experience in the Production industry (3-5 years preferred), with familiarity with industry roles and terminology.Join ILMThis position is with Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd.
