Our dedicated team of employees and subcontractors is committed to delivering quality work in a safe environment, on time, and exceeding client expectations.The HSE & QA Manager is responsible for managing the company''s IMS system, site safety system implementation, company audits, and external audits. This role involves overseeing the implementation of site IMS procedures through site visits and audits, working alongside site supervisors, project managers, company management, and contracts administrators.Role ResponsibilitiesPerform site safety inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions across all sites.Support site compliance with legislation, MAAS policies, standards, and the safety management system, including reporting via Skytrust or other software.Investigate injuries and incidents; provide corrective action recommendations.Maintain and review safety documentation and systems, including development of SWMS.Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.Assist with new employee inductions and training, educating the workforce on safety legislation rights and obligations.Support internal audits and action plans; complete company internal corporate audits annually.Coordinate and manage company ISO audits annually; maintain ISO requirements in WHS, QA, and ENV systems.Ensure adherence to Site Safety & Quality obligations from broader teams.Complete and upload EOM reports timely through the Group Safety Reporting System.Maintain an up-to-date ISO accredited system and ensure compliance.Transition the current paper-based system to electronic within six months, maintaining current obligations.Assist in setting up Site Safety & QA Management Plans for projects.Conduct regular training for current and new team members.Manage the role autonomously, suggesting improvements for efficiency and outcomes.Participate effectively in weekly team meetings.Assist with Workcover claims management and return-to-work coordination as needed.For more information about this role, please contact HR@maasgroup.com.au. #J-18808-Ljbffr
