Job Description - Claims Management Officer - Pet insurance (250000N0)Job DescriptionJob Number:Claims Management Officer - Pet insurance (250000N0)DescriptionAt RACQ, were good people doing good things, making a positive impact every day, with opportunities to learn, grow, and be more.About the roleTo provide responsive and proactive claims management services for our members and third parties while managing timely, efficient, and effective claims processes with our members always at the forefront.Provide end-to-end claims experience subject to segmentation rules.Deliver professional, proactive, and efficient customer service & claims management with accurate & compliant information.Display RACQ values by working collaboratively, participating in employee engagement initiatives.Contribute to building high performance, accountability, collaboration, and capability within the team. Identify and raise training and improvement opportunities.Own the end-to-end claim process, including lodgement, for claims of your complexity.Triaging, managing claims, and deploying emergency services to mitigate loss.Participate in coaching and training to improve member experience and claims outcomes or prepare for managing more complex claims.Provide proactive, timely, quality, and efficient claims outcomes.About youExperience in insurance claims, pet health, or veterinary industry.Ability to collaborate, work well in a team, and positively impact engagement.Effective communication and listening skills.Problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage varying workloads and pressures.Why join RACQ?Join us during an exciting transformation towards better, smarter solutions that deliver security and prosperity for Queenslanders.
