Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Cairns or Townsville or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.This roster is 8/6 and a 12-hour day.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options available.About the roleAs the Supervisor Concentrator Mechanical Maintenance, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the mechanical maintenance processing equipment to ensure optimal availability and reliability. Key responsibilities include:Leading a team of mechanical technicians across preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and scheduled shutdownsPlanning and executing complex repairs and rebuilds of critical assets (e.g. mills, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems)Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and proceduresConducting formal risk assessments and change management processesWorking closely with planners and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomesCreating and maintaining quality Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)About youYou''re a qualified tradesperson with a strong background in heavy industry or mining maintenance. With proven leadership experience, you''re skilled in planning, fault-finding, and supervising shutdown activities. Your technical capabilities and attention to detail are matched by your ability to guide and support your team. You will also bring:A relevant Trade Certificate and post-trade trainingAdvanced mechanical fault-finding skills, particularly in hydraulics and lubrication systemsExperience in supervising complex installations and rebuildsProficiency with ERP/CMMS systems and reading technical drawingsA strong safety mindset and ability to lead by exampleAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
