Position Status: Temporary Full Time (until 30 June 2028) Department: Infrastructure Services Branch: Infrastructure Planning, Design & Delivery Remuneration: Level 5.1 ($90,851 Base salary) / Total package up to $103,123 (including 12% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading) About You Ideal candidates will have experience in infrastructure planning, design, project management, and project controls and reporting. Experience in contract management or civil engineering is preferred. Key Responsibilities Prioritize, plan, coordinate, and control infrastructure projects to meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Prepare project plans, tender documents, and expressions of interest, and oversee their delivery and financial administration. Manage projects through all lifecycle stages from inception to completion. Develop communication plans and engage with community and stakeholders regarding project impacts. Monitor project conformance, assess risks, and address issues promptly. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project delivery. Collaborate with government agencies and council clients to ensure statutory compliance and alignment with council objectives. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Encourage staff to exceed expectations, make quick decisions, and meet customer needs. Support innovation, sustainability, and community partnership initiatives. Perform other relevant duties as required.
