Business Development / Territory ManagerWinterhalter Australia is the privately owned subsidiary for Winterhalter GmbH, a family owned warewashing manufacturer located in Germany. With 40+ branches and over 1,900 employees worldwide.Winterhalter Australia was formed in 2010, with branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth & Adelaide and 40 employees including Territory Managers, Technicians and After Sales Team.Working closely with our distributor network, kitchen designers and end users we provide glass and dishwashing solutions that suit all markets, from pub groups, restaurants, hotels, cafs, fast food chains, childcare and education, healthcare care, corporate and government sectors.POSITIONThis role will require a motivated self-starter. Were looking for a dynamic person with strong self-management skills, with a high level of communication skills and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to establishing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, and end-users in South Australia and Western Australia.Whilst we have an established customer base, this role will require building new business relationships across South Australia & Western Australia.TASKS & DUTIES Develop growth strategies and plans Generate leads and manage client relationships Identify and assess sales opportunities & customer needs Create quotations through company CRM, log and track activities Provide expert advice on products and services Communicate and collaborate with field techniciansCANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills and attributes that align with both the product and the target market.Industry knowledge: The candidate should have a solid understanding of the hospitality and food service industry.Sales Experience: A proven track record in territory sales, especially in the commercial equipment or hospitality sector. The candidate should demonstrate strong negotiation skills and history of meeting or exceeding sales targetsManaging client accounts: As primary point of contact assigned to distributor and end user accounts working closely with our field technicians and internal service team to ensure timely execution of projects.Relationship builder: building and maintaining strong client relationships is crucial. The candidate should be personable, approachable and capable of fostering trust with customers ranging from restaurant owners to hospitality managers.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for presenting proposals, conducting product demonstrations and following up with clients.Networking Skills: the ability to engage with industry professionals through networking events, trade shows is important for generating leads and building brand presence.Travel: The candidate would be flexible with travel interstate (South Australia) approximately every 8 weeks or depending on client needs and business objectives.Self motivated: A self starter with a proactive attitude who can work independently whilst managing their time effectively to maximise sales opportunities.Passion for the product: an enthusiasm for Winterhalter products and a commitment to delivering exceptional service will help the candidate stand out and resonate with potential clients.Overall, the ideal candidate will combine expertise, communication skills and a customer-centric approach to drive sales and represent Winterhalter dishwashers and services in Western Australia & South Australia.As well as an attractive renumeration package which includes, salary, car allowance, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone, and sales target bonus.The selection process will include initial interview via video call.
