We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our goal to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives.About the HR Business Partnering DepartmentThe HR Business Partnering function sits within the People and Culture Directorate, and acts as a trusted partner to stakeholders and organisational leadership teams. The team works across Austin Health to provide strategic and operational HR advice, coaching and subject matter expertise on a range of HR matters.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time HR Business Partner to join the team at Austin Health. This role reports to the Manager HR Business Partners and works closely with a senior HR business partner and business leaders in a portfolio that includes clinical areas of Austin Health.A regular day will see you:Working with an allocated portfolio of managers to build capability and enable the implementation of HR processesProviding guidance and subject matter expertise to deliver end-to-end operational HR solutions to identified issuesWorking closely with aligned Senior HR Business Partners to support portfolios and address identified people issuesWorking closely with other P&C Departments to deliver a comprehensive and seamless service into the businessActing as a central P&C point of contact for HR issues, and as a conduit of P&C initiatives into the businessAttending and actively contributing to meetings and other activities with the team, colleagues and stakeholders.About youYou will be an experienced HR practitioner, who has excellent communication skills and a willingness to actively participate in issues resolution and problem solving. Youll bring energy and drive to your work, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and proactiveness in your work.To be successful in this role, you''ll bring with you:Previous experience in a Business Partnering or similar HR roleRelationship management expertise, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within P&C and portfolio areasCritical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills in order to scope and understand problems and issues, and identify and implement resolution pathwaysA commitment to team work and contributing to initiatives, projects and team activitiesAn engaged and proactive approach to the workWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
