Job Description

As the Enterprise Development Manager, you will oversee the management of partnerships and support services across the region. Your role involves working closely with support services teams and government stakeholders to identify, assess, and connect with potential suppliers. Your goal is to enhance regional and national industry capabilities, supporting the success of the Regional Maintenance Contract (RMC) program. Responsibilities Ensure the delivery of high-quality RMP services. Engage with regional industry and manage relationships. Develop supplier skills and maintain customer satisfaction. Ensure all services meet contractual and performance standards, prioritizing safety, security, and environmental responsibility. Foster continuous improvement to support the long-term success and sustainability of NORSTA. Embodies NORSTAs values and works to deliver on commitments, ensuring operations are profitable, sustainable, and aligned with community and industry needs. About You You hold Australian citizenship. You have proven experience in a similar role within the Australian Defence or maritime sectors, with a strong record of delivering industry capability initiatives. You are skilled in developing and implementing enterprise and capability projects, including supply chain improvement, supporting diversity and sustainability, and mentoring small and medium businesses for regional growth. You possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building strategic relationships across industry, government, and regional communities, including preparing key defence management plans. You are an effective communicator, capable of producing clear reports, analyzing data, and translating complex information into insights and recommendations. You are a capable leader with strong organizational skills, able to lead by example, manage multiple priorities, and foster a positive, safety-first team environment. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the defence sector. Security Clearance You must be able to obtain and hold Baseline Defence security clearance, which requires Australian Citizenship.
