This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact digital transformation initiatives within the utilities sector.You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business domain experts to design and deliver scalable data architecture frameworks across procurement and finance systems, with key applications including asset management, predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and anomaly detection.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, design, and govern enterprise-wide data architecture solutions across finance, procurement, and operational domains.Enable high-quality data integration and architecture across platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle ERP.Partner with stakeholders in the utilities sector to support analytics and reporting solutions that drive operational efficiency and predictive insights.Lead the implementation of cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architecture paradigms such as data lakehouses, data mesh, and enterprise data hubs.Develop metadata management, data lineage, and governance frameworks that meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.Champion best practices in master data management (MDM), data quality, and architecture governance across the enterprise.Deliver architectural roadmaps that support digital transformation programs aligned to finance and procurement modernisation.Required Skills & QualificationsEither Australian Citizenship or PR status (essential due to compliance and data security requirements).Minimum 8 years'' experience in data architecture roles, with proven delivery in finance and procurement system landscapes.Demonstrated experience in the utilities sector (e.g., electricity, water, gas, or infrastructure), with a focus on system integration and analytics.Deep understanding of enterprise procurement and financial platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba) and their data frameworks.Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modelling practices.Experience in frameworks such as TOGAF or similar architecture methodologies.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and business-facing.What Were Looking ForWere not just looking for experience were looking for impact.Candidates must clearly outline:Previous roles and projects in relevant domains.Outline achievements that reflect tangible benefits delivered to the organisation, project, or stakeholders.Specific contributions and results, such as improved reporting, reduced integration time, optimised performance, or increased data reliability.Tools and technologies used and how they enabled value delivery to the team, business unit, or customer.If you''re ready to architect the future of data in Australia''s utilities sector, wed love to hear from you.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
