Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Company: Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) LtdReporting to the Coordinator: Drill & Blast, you will be responsible for providing quality supervision of the Drill and Blast crews.Contribute to the delivery of operational targets in a safe, productive, and efficient manner to maximise performance by leading and developing a competent crew of operational personnel in achieving production and development targets.This role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO from Perth or residential Kambalda/Kalgoorlie basis.Benefits include:6% Site Allowance, Quarterly Bonus Scheme, Private Health Insurance Allowance, and Retention BonusSalary continuance scheme and life insuranceContinual training and career development opportunitiesSalary Sacrifice optionsAbout the role:Supervise all subordinate personnel within the Drill & Blast project team and provide technical advice on operations to internal and external customers.Ensure environmental compliance through regular inspections and proactive management of environmental impacts.Manage performance of all reports, ensuring SMART objectives are set and outcomes are achieved.Ensure compliance with OHS and Environmental Management Systems standards through participation in initiatives, toolbox meetings, investigations, training, audits, and other activities.Contribute to business performance by attracting, developing, and motivating a skilled workforce capable of meeting production requirements while maintaining safety standards.Provide operational expertise to minimize downtime and production loss.Assist in training and mentoring trainees and lead the work of others when relevant.About you:Experience in a similar Surface Mining role, specifically Drill & Blast operations.Basic/intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of Mines Safety and Inspection Act and regulations.Experience with Top hammer production drills is advantageous.Essential qualifications: C Class Drivers Licence, Apply First Aid, Dangerous Goods, Shot Firer Ticket.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and encourage applications from female candidates, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and candidates from culturally diverse backgrounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
