This is a chance to work with a collaborative leadership team and contribute to solving challenging financial crime issues across various industries and government sectors.About the RoleThey are seeking anAssociate Director or Director(68+ years of professional experience) to join their financial crime practice inSydney . You will bring proven experience from consulting, industry, regulatory bodies or law enforcement, particularly in one or more of the following areas:Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF)Fraud prevention, including scamsThey are especially interested in candidates with relevant consulting experience and a strong track record in one or more of the following areas:Financial crime data and technology solutionsDesigning, transforming, implementing, or managing transaction monitoring or customer screening/risk systems and programsEnhancing, optimising, or managing financial crime operations teamsBusiness development and sales of financial crime-related projects or solutionsKey ResponsibilitiesAs a senior team member, your responsibilities will include:Delivering financial crime prevention and detection services across advisory, implementation, and managed service engagementsManaging complex advisory projects with strong stakeholder engagement, quality control, and team leadershipLeading project scoping, team management, budgeting, timeline management, stakeholder reporting, data analysis, and deliverable preparationCoordinating and leading multi-disciplinary teamsSupporting the development of proposals and pitches for new client opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsContributing to the ongoing growth of the business through mentoring and developing team members, and managing key client and service offeringsAbout YouYou will bring a blend of technical and leadership strengths, along with the following qualifications and experience:Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)At least 6 years of experience in financial crimeeither in industry (e.g., financial services, gaming) or a forensic/financial crime advisory roleStrong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skillsHigh attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communicationAbility to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesA commercial mindset with an interest in business development and client relationship managementAbout the Firm:This team is passionate about making an impact that matters for clients, the community, and each other.
