While preference is for the role to be based in Canberra, applications from other states are welcome. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will have a deep understanding of risk and its implications for our clients. We continuously analyze and assess the security postures of our clients and provide guidance on improvements.Success in this role requires excellent soft skills. Our Security Consultants actively listen to clients, communicate effectively, and facilitate collaboration bringing teams together and clearly articulating strategies at every phase.Additionally, a strong understanding of Information Security Management principles is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesAudit and review against cybersecurity and information security frameworks.Develop business plans and roadmaps.Create and translate security solutions from business challenges.Key Skills and Qualifications3+ years of experience in a similar Security Consulting role; candidates with more or less experience are encouraged to apply.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (non-negotiable).Ability to innovate, adapt, and perform under pressure in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.Capability to multi-task across clients and projects.Comfort with working in a billable-per-hour environment and managing your utilization.Understanding of frameworks such as the Essential 8, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, among others.This is an exciting opportunity to join Brennan!
