This role initially offers shifts on Thursdays and every second weekend, with opportunities for additional hours during events. Some of Your Duties Greeting guests and seating them appropriately Providing menu recommendations and answering questions Taking food and drink orders, including dietary restrictions Checking in on guest satisfaction Delivering food and drinks promptly and accurately Maintaining a clean dining area Processing payments accurately Collaborating with kitchen staff Participating in training sessions Creating a welcoming environment What you will bring Experience in a commercial kitchen (desired) Knowledge of food safety standards (preferable HACCP) Teamwork skills Organizational and problem-solving skills Effective communication Exceptional customer service skills Compassion, sensitivity, and maturity Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions About Southern Cross Care Queensland Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organization serving the community for over 40 years, providing compassionate care to the aging population across Queensland.
