We are continually raising the bar in service delivery, improving reliability for customers using technology and communication.Job PurposeThe Yardperson is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the bus fleet in and out of the depot while managing requirements from the maintenance team.We are looking for people interested in working throughout the business including our Kingsgrove, Menai, Revesby, and Taren Point locations.ResponsibilitiesEnsure drivers report for their shifts on time, depart the depot according to their scheduled departure time, and escalate to the Operations Control Centre (OCC) any failures, supporting contractual requirements and customer expectations.Work with the depot management team and drivers to ensure all buses depart on time.Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager and Leading Hand to ensure the fleet complies with BOAS accreditation and vehicle presentation standards, complete all pre-departure checks on time, and follow the vehicle defect procedures.Check buses and report unusual high usage of oil and coolant levels to the Leading Hand.Escalate matters requiring attention to OCC and collect mobile two-way radios.Replace or change buses with defects or issues identified by Bus Drivers that make them unserviceable.Assist drivers with parking instructions upon their return to the depot, in line with the parking plan.Perform other tasks as required to ensure smooth depot operations, including training drivers on vehicle requirements.Qualifications and ExperienceA current MR License or willingness to upgrade.A current WWCC Check or willingness to obtain.A Current Bus Driver Authority Card or willingness to obtain.Who are we?U-Go Mobility is committed to operational and customer excellence.
