All applicants must have a strong understanding of building materials, tools, techniques, effective communication skills, their own vehicle, and a full kit of tools. Position Summary: Reporting to the Project Manager / Director, you will be responsible for providing quality carpentry services through the construction and installation of various structures and fixtures on residential and commercial projects. Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Preparation of the project set out Determine height, width, length, and other proportions Work with site plans, designs, and instructions from supervisors Work with materials such as wood, plastic, metal, and aluminium Utilize assorted hand tools and power tools Work on top of timber wall frames/beams, scaffolding, ladders, and roofs of buildings Check work along the way to ensure that its up to code and specifications Use laser levels and surveying equipment Work with prefabricated materials Build stairs, mantles, and furniture Install cabinets and timber mouldings Re-model homes and commercial fit-outs Project management and training of apprentices Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Australian Carpentry Contractors Commercial Pty Ltd by 2x.
