As well as the relevant skills and experience, we''re looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.The TeamThe EMEA Document Production Team (DocProd) supports our EMEA offices and is responsible for creating, editing and reformatting all types of documents consistent with the practice''s precedents, templates and House Style across all Microsoft Office 2016 applications. The team handles the processing of all copy, audio and scanned work and provides assistance to the business in relation to resolving problem or corrupt documents.The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a London based Document Production Technician to work Monday to Friday (10:30-18:30) with a Hybrid model - 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days working from home each week. You will be part of a motivated team providing high-quality, professional documentation.Specific responsibilities include:Producing and amending lengthy and complex business-critical documents accurately, in line with our house style.Proofreading and checking all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, presentation, and clarity.Proactively learning new skills and technology to support business needs.Responding politely and professionally to internal and external telephone enquiries.Ensuring effective handover of work between shifts.Showing initiative in resolving document issues and seeking solutions.Sharing best practices and ''fixes'' for document problems to maintain team standards of accuracy and efficiency.Being flexible to meet team and business needs, including occasional shift changes with reasonable notice.Skills And Experience RequiredDocument production experience in a fast-paced professional environment, with familiarity in working with lengthy and corrupt documents using templates and House Style.Typing speed of at least 65wpm, proficient in audio and copy typing.Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio 2016.Experience in troubleshooting and resolving corrupt documents.Knowledge of PDF Docs, Adobe Pro, and DocXTools.Experience working with scanned documents.MOS Word Expert Qualification (additional MOS qualifications in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook are beneficial).Diversity, Equity and InclusionWe aim to create a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can bring their whole selves to work, feel a sense of belonging, and reach their full potential.
