Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report .Project OverviewBechtel has been engaged to provide EPCM services to replace three (3) existing bucketwheel reclaimers at a facility at Dampier in northwest Australia.The Project includes the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the new bucketwheel reclaimers as well as design and construction of associated off-board scope, including earthworks, marine infrastructure, structural works and electrical upgrades to support the installation and operation of the new reclaimers.An opportunity exists within the Bechtel project team for a Turnover Coordinator to work closely with project stakeholders (including contractors, Bechtel and the customer) to ensure successful turnover of the works.This will be a site based role working a 2 & 1 FIFO rosterJob SummaryIn this role, you will participate with completions certification and turnover/handover for a project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program. You will assist with completions documents and packages, inspection requests, and quality assurance reviews. Your work will help ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and meet customer requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesParticipates with completions certification and turnover/handover for the project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the programIncorporates handover requirements from the customer and construction/CSU turnover requirements, as provided into the systems completion databaseMonitors the production of contractor certification deliverables, including quality of submissions, and adherence to agreed schedulesDevelops reports as specified by supervision and generates on a periodic basisCoordinates plant turnover/handover to end user/client and system completions between parties on-project (typically construction to startup), compiling documentation, ensuring quality and consistency of turnover/handover packages to the client for the construction and/or CSU teamMaintains lists and turnover processes as documented by procedure and directedInputs provided data into system databases and administers the systems completion database; ensuring that requirements are set for systems under their purviewAssists with the punch list database, running reports and chasing areas of focus as directedAssists with completions packages to certify completion of a turnover or handover element for review and approvalAssists with completions documents submittal, checking and compilation processes or provides checking and oversight to subcontractors in this regardEducation And Experience RequirementsIndustry experience gained through a recognised degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialised courses in Information Systems, Engineering, Construction or related fields, and/or work experience in a STEM-related field.Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge And SkillsKnowledge of construction and commissioning processes as they relate to completion and turnover activitiesGood knowledge of MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)Experience with data management and /or database usageGood attention to detail and ability to proactively seek out missing informationTotal Rewards/BenefitsFor decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
