Level A plus 17% employer superannuation (from 1 June 2025)Help build a first-of-its-kind national register on motorcycle and small vehicle fatalitiesWork with leading medic-legal and engineering researchers on real-world crash dataJoin Australias only academic department embedded in a forensic medicine instituteThe OpportunityAre you a proactive early-career researcher who is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to public health and injury prevention?We are seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to a Proof-of-Concept study funded by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. This role will support the development of a scalable Register on motorcycle and motorised small wheel vehicle fatalities (20162023 and ongoing).In this role you will collate and link data from sources such as the Victorian Road Crash Database, National Coronial Information System, and Victoria Police. Your work will support multidisciplinary analysis to inform trends, risks, and preventative strategies for road trauma.At Monash, youll work within a world-class team in a unique forensic-medical setting.
