Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create AlertEmployment type Full Time Ongoing RoleSalary Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 to $138,510Your roleThe Senior Property Officer role is responsible for delivering the business-as-usual sales and acquisition projects whilst working with the Principal Property Officer on more complex acquisition, sales and property programs.The role also establishes clear communication and consultation paths with the wider organisation providing professional property and valuation advice to support the business decision making along with managing some commercial leasing properties.What youll doAs part of the Capital Transaction Team, you will manage direct sales to other government agencies, community housing providers and unsolicited proposals in accordance with relevant legislation, framework and policies.The role includes providing professional property and valuation advice to support the business decision making along with managing non-core commercial leasing portfolio of properties with support from Property Officers.What were looking forWork as a senior part of the team to provide quality, cost effective and timely property acquisitions and sales internally and through contracted suppliers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects to meet client briefs, timelines and expectations.Implement the project, engage with Principal Property Officers, relevant stakeholders and Development Managers to adequately consult and meet targets and expectations. Manage coordinate and resource projects for successful delivery.Provide guidance and expertise to Property Officers in the team for projects including acquisitions, sales and other valuation and property related activities.Assist the Principal Property Officer by providing input to the review, evaluation, advice, and recommendations in context of, property valuations, external provider property purchases, sale or lease of properties, complex property advice and feasibility studies.Provide input and document acquisition and sales program reports, project status and perform risk management analyses on performance for early issue identification/rectification and for the purpose of lessons learned and knowledge sharing across teams and individuals.Collaborate with Principal Project Officers to embed risk profiling and management into organisational strategies and policies and analyse the impact of developments within the regulatory framework on work for any required enhancements to own process, policies, practices, or structure.Engage and work alongside a team of ongoing and contract staff, providers, and suppliers to cultivate a culture of collaboration and teamwork that emphasises achieving outcomes and finding solutions.If you are viewing this ad in Seek and wish to apply via their portal, you will be required to either set up a profile or login via your existing Seek account.To apply directly via the DCJ Careers site click here .
