1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from WAISL LimitedRole summaryThe company is looking for an experienced IT and Digital Transformation Project Manager to join this fast-growing Aviation IT technology team to support our Australia and New Zealand markets with tender planning, response management and post-award project deployment (Quote to Cash). The PM will pro-actively work on future requirements from airports in ANZ to enable sales and increase our share of the IT services market. Our PM is expected to read and analyse RFP/Tender, formulate a response to the tender, drive discussions with OEM and strategic partners, enable a comprehensive bid response document to be submitted and thereafter defend the response in front of the customer. This role also includes strategic pre-sales and BD activities to establish WAISL in tenders for the future.ResponsibilitiesHe/She will work primarily on awarded projects to ensure project plans are created, approved by client, coordinated with internal and vendor teams and timely execution with compliance to quality expected.He/She will be solely responsible for post-award contract execution, tracking progress, raising alarms at delays and non-compliances, creating and submitting MIS reports to management.Be able to build close customer relations and ensure we can mine these accounts for more business in future.Ability to represent and articulate WAISL value proposition to existing and new prospects across ANZ.Actively participate before, during and after RFP response in terms of project plan, customer relations, Q&A and pricing intelligence.Be able to map BOQ, interface information and write the tender response from project pov which will stand up to scrutiny with the customer and consultants.Attend trade shows, tender briefing and scout for opportunities where WAISL can participate with a decent chance of win.Educational QualificationsHas to be an Engineering degree from a reputed institution preferably in computer science.Has to also have PMP qualifications with current validity.Relevant and total years of ExperienceThe candidates should have exceptional verbal and written presentation skills.Must have at least 7-10 years of overall experience in must have hands on experience for airport IT projects with at least one project completed.Must have worked with leading OEMs in airport IT space such as SITA, Amadeus, Collins and others.Knowledge of networking and data centre, cloud is ideal.Should have a natural flair for building relationships, understanding business problems in the Aviation/Airports sectors and positioning the new WAISLsolutions and services.The candidate is expected to be a team player and a self-starter who can work independently or with minor supervisionLocation: Perth, WACitizenship: Has to be Australia Citizen.
