About The Opportunity At PMHC, every employee plays a part in working together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communication Officer (Community Engagement) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering community communication activities and campaigns in line with Councils strategies, brand, processes, procedures, and vision. They will develop content for engagement, education, project, and event activities of the Council, and create collateral and communication mediums to inform the community about ongoing initiatives and involvement opportunities. To succeed in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Minimum 2 years'' experience in a communications-related role. Proven experience in community communications, stakeholder engagement, projects, and events will be highly regarded. On a Typical Day This Role Will Support the development of communication collateral and mediums to inform and engage the community. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support the Liveable Communities teams, including engagement and education initiatives.
