The Role The Automation Test Lead will oversee and ensure high-quality test automation frameworks and scripts across our software products. This role involves developing automation frameworks, participating actively in proof-of-concepts, and collaborating with various teams to define and implement automation strategies. Responsibilities include driving automation initiatives, mentoring team members, managing automation tools, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Responsibilities Strategic Automation Planning and Implementation Create and implement automation solutions to optimize business processes. Collaborate with business and engineering teams to develop effective automation solutions. Establish best practices for automation development, testing, and deployment. Project Management and Execution Manage automation tools, frameworks, and infrastructure ensuring reliability. Lead multiple automation projects to ensure timely delivery. Ensure adherence to governance, policies, and standards. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and develop automation engineers and vendor resources. Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the team. Stakeholder and Vendor Collaboration Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. Manage vendor relationships for automation tools and support. Risk Management & Quality Assurance Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and resolve issues. Track and resolve defects, report trends, and ensure quality standards. Minimum Requirements At least 5 years of experience in test automation, with 3+ years in leadership. Experience managing third-party vendors and teams. Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Tricentis TOSCA. Strong understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and modern testing practices. Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail or e-commerce sectors. Certifications in automation tools or methodologies.
