We are currently seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Events and Parents Association Administrator to support our busy Community Engagement Team.About the RoleThe Events and Parents Association Administrator plays a vital role in the successful planning and delivery of a wide portfolio of community events throughout the school year. These include events for parents, alumnae, prospective families, and key student social functions. This is a dynamic and hands-on role requiring excellent communication, administrative, and event coordination skills.Reporting to the Events Manager, you will support event logistics, communications across internal and external stakeholders, and operational planning while maintaining an engaging and professional presence.Weekend and evening work will be required, in line with the Colleges event calendar.Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include:Provide administrative support to the Community Engagement Team, including calendar management, supplier communications, document tracking, compliance monitoring, and volunteer processesSupport event logistics including campus access, event bump-in/bump-out coordination, and equipment managementAssist with the planning and delivery of events that align with College priorities and community expectationsCoordinate event briefs, timelines, run sheets, collateral, and promotional materialsMonitor event budgets, prepare post-event reports, and support continuous improvement through structured debriefsMaintain filing systems, databases, and office resources to ensure efficient event deliveryCommunicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of eventsAbout YouMinimum of 2 years experience in administration and/or event coordinationHighly effective organiser with excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to build positive relationshipsCompetent in digital tools and systems relevant to events and office administrationDemonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environmentAdherence to all College policies and demonstration of behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe StandardsCurrent Working with Children CheckRight to work in AustraliaWhy Join MLC?Join a values-driven, inclusive school community focused on collaboration, excellence, and student wellbeingContribute to events that build meaningful connections across the MLC communityWork in a supportive team environment with access to on-site facilities and professional development opportunitiesFor further information regarding this position, please reach out to peopleandculture@mlc.vic.edu.au.MLC puts child safety at the forefront and is committed to providing a child-safe environment.
