West Coast Fever is Western Australias elite representative team competing in the Suncorp Super Netball league. Netball WAs pathways programs include the West Coast Fever Reserves, West Coast Fever Futures (17/U & 19/U), and Fever In Time (regional and metropolitan academies).The General Manager of Performance and Pathways is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and management of Netball WAs key elite programs, including West Coast Fever, its reserves, futures, Western Australia State Teams, Talent Pathway Programs, and related competitions such as the West Australian Netball League.Reporting to the Group CEO as part of the senior executive team, this role manages a vital department within Netball WA operations, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of core activities and strategic goals.The role is responsible for:Developing and implementing a comprehensive High Performance Plan to sustain a world-leading system that provides West Coast Fever with a competitive advantageConnecting pathways and competitions to identify, support, and celebrate talented players, coaches, and officials, ensuring a strong pipeline of Western Australian talentEnhancing the Western Australian Netball League to be the premier state-based competitionIdeal candidates will be driven, dynamic leaders capable of building collaborative relationships, credibility, and strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including volunteers. The role requires making tough decisions and communicating clearly and compassionately.You should be strategic in thinking and practice, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, solving problems proactively, maintaining a big-picture perspective, and staying calm under pressure.Extensive experience and understanding of high-performance sport are essential, with the ability to foster a high-performance culture and embed core values within an elite sporting environment.
