Helpdesk Support Officer | Government Agency | Malabar, NSW Location: Malabar, NSW Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week Schedule: 5 days a week, with flexible arrangements after the initial period Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement Job Overview Join a dynamic government agency in Malabar as a Level 1-2 Helpdesk Support Officer. We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to provide reliable and efficient technical support in a complex service environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues. Troubleshoot, install, and configure hardware, software, applications, and peripherals. Provide support for desktop and server operating systems and directory services. Maintain and optimize Microsoft/Citrix technologies following ITIL procedures. Define and enforce compliance with setup and installation processes to ensure smooth IT operations. Demonstrate proven expertise in Level 1 and 2 helpdesk support with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience. Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft/Citrix technologies and ITIL procedures. Proactively define, monitor, and improve ICT setup processes. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
