This 5-month contract offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-documented, high-performing finance function with exposure to both plant operations and corporate FP&A processes.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will report to the Regional Operations Controller and be responsible for key financial activities at the plant level, including:Cost Accounting & Inventory: Standard costing, cost allocations, inventory valuation, and physical inventory support (fall).Month-End Close: Journal entries, reconciliations, report publishing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Forecasting & Budgeting: Monthly operational forecasting and participation in the fall budgeting cycle.Reporting & Analysis: Generate, refine, and troubleshoot financial and operational reports using SAP, Excel, and Power BI. Monitor sales trends and performance against targets.Continuous Improvement: Although tactical in nature, this role encourages insights and ideas for improving processes and uncovering trends.Qualifications & ExperienceStrong background in plant, cost, or manufacturing accountingProficiency with SAP, Excel (advanced), and Power BIExperience with month-end close, forecasting, and inventory accountingInquisitive and analytical mindset with attention to detailComfortable working both in corporate office and plant environmentsAble to work independently and collaborate across teamsNo supervisory duties; must be a proactive doer---RGP is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
