Are flexible working arrangements important to you?If you answeredYESto these questions, theCanberra officeofACIL Allenis looking for an experiencedSenior Consultantto join our growing team.About the roleAs aSenior Consultantat ACIL Allen in Canberra, you will work across our economic and public policy advisory portfolio, including:Development of methodologies and proposalsGathering and analyzing informationClient liaison and managementResearch, report writing, and stakeholder engagementThis role offers the opportunity to develop your advisory skills in economics and public policy by engaging in complex, challenging, and high-profile projects under the guidance of leading experts and scholars.About youTo succeed, you should meet the following requirements:Bachelor''s degree or higher in a quantitative or economics-based discipline (e.g., economics, statistics, mathematics, finance)Ability to work with or create economic models and derive insights through rigorous analysis and understanding of markets and incentivesAt least 5 years of experience in economics, regulation, and public policy advice in government or consultingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-driven with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamPreferred additional qualities include:Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft ExcelExperience with analytical tools such as R, Python, GEMPACKExperience in economic modelling areas like general-equilibrium analysis, input-output modelling, cost-benefit analysis, or demographic/workforce modellingAbout ACIL AllenACIL Allen Pty Ltd is Australia''s largest independent economics and policy consultancy.
