Job Description

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering facilities and building maintenance services at our Melbourne CBD location. Your duties will ensure compliance with all codes and regulations, meet service requirements, and promote a safe and secure environment for all building occupants and visitors. Key Responsibilities include: Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the property to ensure a safe, functional, and well-presented environment. Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from the Customer Service Desk or Management team, resolving issues efficiently to maintain resident satisfaction. Conduct daily checks on plant equipment, common facilities, and property-specific areas to ensure operational reliability and compliance. Coordinate external contractors onsite, ensuring work is completed safely, to standard, and in line with UniLodge procedures. Support and implement preventative maintenance programs, helping to minimise downtime and maintain quality through proactive planning and supplier coordination. About You: Youll be a great fit if you have previous experience in student accommodation or hospitality, ideally hold a trade qualification, and are confident using systems and Microsoft Office programs. You should also have: Unrestricted working rights in AU Valid National Police Check Valid State Driver''s Licence (Class C preferred) Excellent presentation skills, with a professional and approachable manner suitable for a customer-facing environment Strong communication skills, including written and verbal A holistic understanding of OH&S principles & chemical handling Benefits: We offer more than just a jobwe support your growth and wellbeing.
