Your role and responsibilities As an Apprentice Panel Beater / Body Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our bus fleet at the Randwick depot. Your duties will include: Assisting qualified tradespeople with constructing and repairing metal bus bodies and trailers using hand and power tools. Performing accident repairs and fleet refurbishment. Ensuring buses meet presentation standards. Identifying, reporting, and repairing vehicle defects. We Offer Starting pay rate of $19.70 per hour (including industry allowance). Monthly rostered day off (RDO). Four weeks paid annual leave. Training on new Electric Vehicle technology. Free staff bus service from Central station. Free Opal card for travel on buses, trains, ferries, and light rail. Paid TAFE training at Wetherill Park. Tools, boots, and uniforms provided. Uniform laundering facilities. Access to discounted Fitness Plus gym membership. The talent you bring Proven hands-on automotive or mechanical experience, including use of related tools. Current NSW drivers license (Ps accepted) with willingness to upgrade to HR if required. Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship including TAFE study.
