Join to apply for the Technician - Field Service role at Cummins Asia Pacific.We are looking for a talented Field Service technician to join our team, specializing in engine repairs and maintenance for our Tasmania customers, based out of Devonport.Role HighlightsLocation: Devonport, TasmaniaSign-on Bonus: $5,000Relocation assistance provided for non-local candidatesCompetitive hourly rate with overtime, penalty rates, on-call allowance, bonus, superannuation, and vehicleMonday to Friday, Day ShiftKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver first-class service to customers across automotive, marine, off-highway, mining, and power generation sectorsComplete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend breakdowns in the field (on-call roster)Diagnose and repair enginesInspect and replace components as neededEngine rebuilding and reconditioningQualificationsMechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, or Plant Mechanic (experience with light vehicles and heavy vehicles considered)Experience in service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, preferably with OEMPrevious field service experience is advantageousAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAdditional InformationAt Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
