Casual Position Overview Home Support Workers help our clients with: Personal care such as showering, grooming, or assistance with dressing. Social support with companionship or attending community appointments or recreational activities. Capacity-building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence. Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning. Recording attendance and task summaries via a smartphone application. Requirements The ideal candidate will be proactive in supporting individuals with unique needs and preferences in their daily activities. Commitment to work arrangements that support physical, psychological, and social needs is essential. We offer flexibility for school-hour shifts, with a goal of rostered permanent shifts, so reliability and good communication are vital for success. Home Support Workers Must Have National Police Check (less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check). Drivers License. Well-maintained, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle. Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance). Current First Aid and CPR certifications. NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check (advantageous). Remuneration We pay SCHADS award wages plus generous allowances proportional to the hours worked for casual home support workers. Compensation includes a base rate for disability and aged care services, along with allowances and reimbursements. Selection Criteria Own a registered, roadworthy, and insured vehicle. Availability of at least 3 days per week. Ability to perform tasks outlined in the position overview. Alignment with company values. Meeting compliance and qualification requirements.
