Aged and Home Care Worker New South Wales - Permanent Position - Located in Lower Blue Mountains/Penrith Join our team as an Aged and Home Care Worker at Kirinari Community Services. This is a permanent part-time position based in Lower Blue Mountains/Penrith. About the Role Our Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting customers to maintain well-being and independence. Responsibilities include: Assistance with personal care Domestic assistance Assisted shopping/client appointments Respite care Meal preparation Social support and community engagement Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am 7pm, with potential for weekend and public holiday shifts. Shifts are shorter, with paid travel time and claimable kms between clients. Candidate Requirements Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (e.g., Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing) Willingness to assist with daily living activities Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to start Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain Full comprehensive car insurance or willingness to obtain Willingness to travel between Blue Mountains and Penrith Smartphone and valid drivers license Benefits Opportunity to give back to the community in a growing sector Hands-on buddy shifts and induction training Salary packaging perks Focus on employee health and wellbeing with support programs Application Process No resume required at this stage.
