Apprentice Security Technician | GippslandWe seek a hardworking, reliable Apprentice Security Technician to join our Gippsland team.We specialise in installing security systems (CCTV, Alarms, Access Control, and Intercoms). Our projects range from office fit-outs to some of Gippsland''s iconic landmarks and infrastructure.Our office is based in Traralgon, and most of our work is in Latrobe Valley, but some travel will be required throughout employment.We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, so rest assured, you will work towards high standards.The main responsibilities include:Installation of CCTV, Alarms, Access Control & Intercom SystemsMaintenance of these systemsDealing with client enquiries & relationshipsTraining clients on system usage and providing ongoing supportProgramming electronic systems via keypads or computers using softwareConfiguring networking equipmentProviding technical support and troubleshootingTo be successful in this role, you must:Have a current, valid driver''s licenceHave an interest in electronic securityBe able to work inside roof spaces, under houses & in confined spacesFollow precise instructions & processesBe honest and reliableBe keen, self-motivated, and willing to learnBe ready to obtain the required licensesHave a keen eye for detail; neat & tidy installations are essentialPrevious client-facing experience is preferredPossess a positive attitude & confidence to tryThis is an apprenticeship; you will be trained by our staff and work alongside a qualified technician.
