Reporting and providing support to the Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to carry out all breakdowns and preventative maintenance activities across a continuous production process and all other maintenance-related operational duties, including servicing and repairing processing, packaging, cooling, and heating systems on site across the entire manufacturing process. This is a permanent position that involves shift work. Main Responsibilities: Carrying out Preventative Maintenance programs for processing, packaging, cooling, and heating systems to ensure efficient services to the site; Responding to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime; Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions; Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes; General maintenance within a factory environment, including filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers, and refrigeration systems; and Participating in continuous improvement activities. Minimum Requirements: A relevant trade qualification as a mechanical fitter; Experience in an FMCG packaging environment preferred; A continuous improvement mindset; Strong troubleshooting skills; Effective interpersonal communication skills and a positive ''Can-Do'' attitude; Ability to build rapport with team members.
