This growth presents a unique opportunity for Council, partners, and the community to shape the city''s future sustainably across cultural, social, environmental, and economic dimensions.About The RoleAs the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will support the design, coordination, and delivery of strategic marketing and communication initiatives aimed at targeted market segments to meet organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement marketing, communication, promotion, and branding initiatives with stakeholders to achieve strategic and commercial goals, including community engagement and ticket sales.Engage regularly with customers, target segments, and stakeholders to foster advocates for Councils programs, leveraging Riverside Theatres identity to boost ticket sales.Contribute to enhancing digital platforms (websites, applications) and traditional media in line with Riverside Theatres marketing strategy.Develop and update marketing tools across print, online, digital, and non-traditional media to meet objectives.Support the positive perception and positioning of Riverside Theatres.Assist in marketing activities that help Riverside Theatres achieve operational and commercial targets.Collect, analyze, and report on relevant statistics, industry trends, and performance indicators.Coordinate and execute destination marketing, promotion, and communication campaigns as directed.About YouTo succeed, you should have:A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related field.At least 4 years experience in marketing and communications, preferably within culture and arts sectors.A proactive, systematic approach to project management with the ability to handle competing priorities.Proven experience in developing targeted marketing, promotion, and communication programs.Experience interpreting research, data, and insights to deliver strategic campaigns.Skills in designing and implementing marketing tools across various formats, including digital and traditional media.Experience with digital systems for research, marketing, and promotional activities.Whats On OfferThis role is based at Riverside Theatres on a 12-month contract. The salary ranges from $101,563 to $111,820 plus 11.5% superannuation.
