Senior Manager role working for a well established manufacturing company.Client DetailsOur client is a well established industrial manufacturing company based in Deeside.DescriptionWorking closely with all other business functions, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of our quality systems and championing quality within our business.Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the group quality management system, planning and executing preventative quality measures, delivering quality training across the group, and ensuring all quality tools are fit for purpose, robust, and efficient.You will lead the recruitment and development of the Quality team, ensure compliance with necessary quality standards, and support the resolution of reactive quality issues. Additionally, you will monitor and optimize the cost of quality, establish effective KPIs, support new development projects to meet quality targets, and collaborate with all functions to proactively address quality risks and implement corrective actions.ProfileSignificant experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably with an industrial engineering or manufacturing background such as metal assembly, welding, fabrication, machining, or precision-engineered components.Strong ability to inspire others about the importance and benefits of quality, with a proven track record of implementing significant improvements to systems and processes.Effective influencing and collaborative skills, with the ability to develop talent within and outside the quality team. Excellent planning and prioritization skills to ensure activities align with overall objectives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data effectively, and a detailed understanding of quality management tools and processes.
