We are part of Japan Post. www.tollgroup.com Procurement Officer As a division of Toll Group, Toll Government & Defense provides specialised logistics services, including warehousing, distribution, relocation, and outsourced sourcing and procurement services. The Role Join Toll in partnership with the Commonwealth! This role involves managing sourcing activities for procurement of commodities for the Department of Defence, including supplier management, tenders, and maintaining the online product catalogue to ensure value for money and accuracy. This key role supports the Commonwealth in reducing ownership costs for Defence commodities by applying ''smart buyer'' principles, simplifying procurement, delivery, and management of resources. Key Responsibilities Product Sourcing and Recommendations: Execute sourcing activities and recommend best value products. Supplier Management: Manage supplier performance and relationships. Product Catalogue Management: Upload and maintain products on the online catalogue. Issue Resolution and Customer Engagement: Resolve product issues and engage with customers proactively. Reporting and Performance Tracking: Provide regular reports to stakeholders. Teamwork and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate across departments and seek performance improvements. About You Supply Chain / Business undergraduate or master''s preferred. Operational procurement experience in a similar environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Experience managing customer interactions, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office at an intermediate to advanced level. Proficient in using KPIs, with a good understanding of company structures and reporting, and experience in customer service/operations.
