School of Agriculture and Food SustainabilityFull-time fixed-term position through to end of 2027Base salary will be in the range $80,523.29 - $89,505.38 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)Based at our Gatton Campus with some travel to St Lucia when requiredAbout This OpportunityWe are seeking an agile and adaptable Project Officer with exceptional coordination, time management, and communication skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver results in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for engagement and teaching and learning projects, ensuring their smooth execution by managing project planning, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communication. Your experience in student, research, outreach, or engagement administration within a university or educational setting will be highly advantageous, as you contribute to the successful delivery of impactful initiatives.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide proactive project support, including managing timelines, documentation, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and maintaining standard operating procedures, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.Organise and support a range of student engagement activities, including major events like Open Day and Orientation, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service to students and stakeholders.Coordinate project communications by drafting emails, documents, and materials, and provide general committee support to ensure effective project governance.Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, developing materials and maintaining strong internal and external relationships to support project objectives.Provide high-quality administrative assistance across all aspects of project delivery and contribute to Faculty-led initiatives and events, performing other duties as requested to support the broader objectives of the school.About UQs Gatton Campusover 125 years ago, UQs Gatton Campus has a long history from starting out as a dedicated agricultural institution, to being a field hospital during WWII, and to joining the UQ community in 1990.Everyone here has a role to play.
