Across our Australian operations, we extract and process rich mineral sands into a range of valuable products including ilmenite, zircon, rutile and titanium dioxide pigment which are then exported to international markets.Our sites are part of the global operations of Tronox Limited, the worlds leading integrated manufacturer of titanium dioxide.We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team at Tronox.This role will be based at our Atlas mine site, approximately 2 hours north-east of Mildura, with employees able to utilise the company-chartered bus service to and from Buronga, NSW to the site. The position is offered on apermanent basis, working a 7on/7off roster with accommodation included.About the roleReporting to theMaintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisorwill be accountable to:Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily and weekly maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, workforce productivity, and production efficiency.Define, monitor, and review maintenance scopes based on technical requirements, available resources, and operational priorities.Identify performance risks and lead timely resolution strategies to minimize operational impact.Provide leadership, guidance, and development to a multidisciplinary maintenance team, fostering a high-performing and safety-conscious culture.Demonstrate and promote Tronox values through strong frontline leadership and team engagement.Oversee the execution of mechanical & electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of workmanship, schedule adherence, and accurate documentation.Collaborate across departments to align maintenance efforts with broader site objectives and operational plans.Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and champion effective safety and risk management practices.Manage personnel-related functions including training, performance management, succession planning, and conflict resolution.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues within the plant to support both scheduled and reactive maintenance needs.Prioritize emergent work effectively to balance schedule completion with unplanned maintenance demandsIn return for your commitment, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package that includes;Option of Bus in, bus out from Buronga NSW7 Days on/7 days off roster - great work/life balanceEligibility to participate in the Tronox bonus scheme12.5% SuperannuationEarly access to Long Service Leave at 5 years (pro-rata)12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carerCompany paid salary continuance, journey, TPD & life insurancesAnnual health related programs and benefitsNovated leasing options availableA service award programA high performance and inclusive culture where people are seen as peopleContemporary accommodation including gym and sports facilitiesAbout youTo be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate (Essential)Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within Processing or Mining (Highly Desirable)Demonstrated experience with pumping systems (both water and slurry)Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary maintenance teams.Solid understanding of SAP, mechanical maintenance practices, including planning, execution, and troubleshootingAbility to prioritise and manage competing tasks, especially in high-pressure or breakdown situations.Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.Whats next?Click Apply and start your brilliant journey with Tronox today!Tronox is committed to building and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.Tronox reserves the right to remove the job postings prior to the stated closing date.
