Job Description Great opportunity for career growth and development with a Tier 1 contractor Awarded Top Employer in 2022, 2023 & 2024 Rewarding salary, annual bonuses, and yearly salary reviews The Project & Opportunity Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass, a major project involving the construction of 8 km of single-lane highway, approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures, and upgrades to local intersections. As an experienced Safety Advisor, you will identify hazards, assess risks to health and safety, recommend safety controls, and advise management and employees on incident prevention and occupational health. Key Responsibilities Implement occupational health and safety strategies, systems, and initiatives Ensure project compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and Australian standards Develop and maintain a base SWMS register and support project staff in reviewing and updating SWMS Prepare and distribute health and safety reports Coordinate and maintain inspection registers, audit schedules, and compliance registers Participate in site inspections, audits, and safety management system reviews Required Skills and Competencies Minimum of 4 years post-trainee experience as an HSE Advisor in commercial construction Experience in disciplines such as rail and infrastructure Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety Incident investigation experience (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent) ACCIONA has received Top Employer certification for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 in Australia, demonstrating its commitment to HR excellence and employee well-being.
