Permanent full time positionBased at PrestonAssist clients to reduce AOD related harms & promote recoveryYour new roleAs an AOD Counsellor, you will provide trauma informed support to reduce AOD related harms to individuals and their families. You will conduct assessments and provide a range of counselling interventions to assist clients and their family members to change harmful behaviours, increase their capacity to effectively manage the problems they are experiencing associated with AOD use, and promote recovery.Benefits of working at UnitingOur work isnt easy, but it matters.
