We are looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Residential Team Leader to join our team in the Wollongong region, managing two Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and working across both the office and the floor.If youre energised by complex support work, thrive in dynamic environments, and want a role that blends leadership with hands-on care this is the opportunity for you.About the RoleIn this part-time leadership role, you will be responsible for managing two SIL homes, supporting participants with complex needs, including:Drug and alcohol-related behavioursSpinal injuries (including bowel and stoma care)You will work both on the floor alongside your team and in the Wollongong office for planning, team meetings, and administration. This role offers a meaningful mix of direct participant support and operational leadership.You will also be part of a rotating on-call schedule and receive paid on-call allowances during your rostered weeks.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations including rostering of two SIL homes, ensuring quality care and NDIS complianceSupport participant needs and maintain strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and allied health teamsLead, supervise, and mentor Support WorkersAssist with coordinating rosters and reviewing timesheetsComplete accurate documentation and contribute to internal auditsPromote a positive, inclusive, and empowering team and home environmentAttend planning sessions and team meetings at the Wollongong officeParticipate in the after-hours on-call roster and receive on-call allowanceAbout YouDemonstrated experience in Disability, Community, or Aged Care sectorsExperience supporting individuals with Autism and/or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is highly desirableAINs and Registered Nurses are strongly encouraged to applyManagement or team leadership experience is highly desirableConfident supporting complex and high-risk participants, including behaviours linked to drug and alcohol useKnowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, incident management, restrictive practices, and active support modelsStrong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skillsCert IV or higher in Disability, Community Services, Individual Support or a related fieldCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, WWCC (NSW), First Aid & CPRFull Australian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicleWhat We OfferGreat competitive hourly rate under the SCHADS AwardPaid kilometres, superannuation, and on-call allowancesSupportive team culture with strong leadership backingOpportunities to grow into full-time or expanded leadership rolesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)A role with purpose make a meaningful difference every dayWhy Join Sydney Health & Care Services?We are committed to person-centred services and empowering our team members.
