Job DescriptionWe are looking to add a BMW and/or Audi/VW automotive technician to our team!You should have demonstrated experience as an auto technician with at least 2 years of working on these specific vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.Automotive Technician Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.Explain automotive repairs/issues to provide great customer service.Plan repair procedures using charts, repair manuals, and experience.Test the functionality of parts and systems.Perform basic service tasks such as inspection services, periodic maintenance, and multi-point inspections.Willingness to learn with hands-on training.Help keep the repair shop clean and organized.Maintain a professional appearance.*Experience involving the application of performance modifications and performance parts installation is a plus!Automotive Technician Requirements:2 years of experience working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles. (required)Diagnostic skills! Ability to use diagnostic and tire service equipment.Understanding of vehicle-specific automotive systems and chassis codes.Must have own tools.Computer skills including typing technician notes and using shop management software.Reliable transportation and punctuality.Self-motivation and ability to work well with others.Automotive and engine repair experience or training required.Hold a valid drivers license.Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately.Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.Good hand-eye coordination.Please send us your resume.
