Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.About the roleWe are seeking to appoint temporary Staff Anaesthetists to cover leave. The Department consists of Staff, Visiting Consultants, Provisional Fellows and Registrars.It is expected that you will:Have a positive, enthusiastic, team-orientated personality with a strong interest in innovation and development of services and models of careBe patient-focused in the provision of high quality clinical careFacilitate and promote a co-operative, multi-disciplinary team approach to all aspects of the serviceContribute to and value teaching/training at undergraduate and postgraduate levelsBe actively involved in and supportive of research activities within the departmentMaximise the efficient use of Barwon Health resources, so as to provide optimum care to all patientsContribute to audit and other departmental maintenance of standards processesExhibit behaviours that demonstrate respect for colleagues and facilitate good communication within the department and with other departmentsRepresent the department within Barwon Health and the wider anaesthetic and medical communitiesSub-speciality interests are encouraged within the position. Any sub-specialist component will form only part of your total workloadExcellent pay and conditions will be in accordance with the Barwon Health Staff Anaesthetists Certified agreement.
