About the Company Our client is a reputable Pathology service provider with a national presence within the Australian market. They operate a busy central laboratory based in the CBD and manage 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW. About the Role As a Scientific Officer, you will be responsible for processing samples in the lab and loading them onto automated analyzers. You will receive training on how to use and troubleshoot these analyzers and interpret the results. Additionally, you will answer phone calls and communicate results to doctors. You will be supported by a team, including managers who are also present on the bench. This is a casual assignment with hours and days that can vary; however, full availability across the week is required. Prior experience in a pathology laboratory outside of research, academia, or university settings is essential. About You Bachelor''s degree in Medical Science or equivalent Previous experience with Flow Cytometry, Immunology, or Serology in a pathology lab is required AIMS accreditation if qualifications were obtained overseas Experience in validating instruments/assays is advantageous Ability to start ASAP and flexibility with working hours Ability to work effectively in a team environment Opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital lab Currently based in Sydney with full working rights in Australia Contact Details We are actively recruiting and interviewing candidates for this role.
