The ClientLewiston Haulage South Australia in Two Wells in SA is an established freight and logistics company.They are now looking to hire a motivated individual to join their successful team as a Truck Driver.The RoleThis is a full-time role with an annual salary set between $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.The ResponsibilitiesSome tasks may include.Delivers freight to agencies in a timely manner as per routing scheduleOperates vehicle in compliance with company rules, applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with accepted principles of safe drivingReports unusual traffic conditions and other hazards noted enrouteReports promptly any unusual delays or difficulties regarding delivery sitesLoads product on truck for delivery when necessaryChecks condition of load for safe transportation, and rearranges as necessaryChecks shipping papers to determine nature of load and any special conditionsMaintains records required for compliance with state and federal regulationsKeeps record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarksInspects vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure from farmUses and cares properly for all equipment assigned to the driver for the performance of dutiesThe RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience gained in a commercial driving capacityMinimum 5 years of experience driving local SA and interstate freight routesMinimum 5 years of clean driving experience without any demeritsMust hold MC license must be up to date and driving records cleanMust consistently meet federal and state driving requirements, safety rules and regulationsAbility to communicate in a clear and understandable mannerThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamAble to pass a drug and alcohol testVerifiable work references #J-18808-Ljbffr
